The new International Standards on Quality Management (ISQM) contribute to a sustainable, proactive, global and effective approach to quality management and mark a significant development of existing quality control standards. Therefore, the Chamber of Auditors and Accountants of Ukraine (CAAU) invites its members and other representatives of the profession to participate in the free webinar “New international standards on quality management. Raising the bar in quality management”, which will take place on June 2, 2021. The event is being prepared by the World Bank's Center for Financial Reporting Reform (CFRR) in participation with the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and the IAASB.
Sue Almond, Member of the IAASB Board, Member of the ISQM Working Group 1, and Natalie Klonaridis, Deputy Director of the IAASB, will speak live on key aspects of the new ISQM and answer questions from participants.
The event will be supported by STAREP, REPARIS for SMEs, the European Union and the World Bank, the Financial Development and Accountability Project in Georgia, and co-financed by the Austrian Development Agency, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance and the European Union.
The webinar is designed for an hour and a half and will run from 16:00 to 17:30 Kyiv time. For the event, we chose the ZOOM platform with a live broadcast on the IFAC channel on YouTube.
All professional accounting organizations and other stakeholders in Europe and Central Asia are invited to participate, so the webinar will be conducted in English with simultaneous translation into five languages, including Ukrainian and Russian.
